... Testing? Testing? Anyone? Hello?
[There's a pause. While she gets over the fact she's using a goddamn journal like a microphone.]
[Deep breaths, Kara.]
So I'm... supposed to write what? Diary entries? "Dear Journal, Earth is apparently exploded and I'm stuck in Not-England, scaring the locals."
[Why yes, that is some plastered-on bravado there.]
Just... how many people can hear this, anyway? I'm not talking to myself, right?

Not unless you wished to share the sketch.

So, no. I kind of don't. It's a favor to society.

But, hearts and names put aside, you'll likely find your journal most useful as a way to communicate.

[A slight pause accompanied by the sounds of what sounds faintly like metal straining; Jetfire just shook his helm.]
And while you might have startled someone when you - ah, I assume you're recently arrived? - came here, I'm sure no one was too startled. And I would not put too much stock in the "explanation" we're given for having been brought here.
[He's trying for reassuring, but it mostly comes out layered with a(n audible) frown, as Jetfire's disapproval of the explanation and situation is stirred again.]
[audio]
[The hell is this guy doing? Digging a trench?]
Yeah, that's as good an assumption as any. And no, I'm... pretty sure I freaked some people out.
[audio]
[He shrugs, even if it can't be seen.]
If you wouldn't mind the question... How did you, ah... "freak" these individuals out?
[audio]
[Paaaaaaause.]
I came around a corner. Out of nowhere.
[YEP. THAT IS TOTALLY THE TRUTH.]
[audio -> video]
While I'm hardly going to assume this would necessarily be startling for you... There's further at least two individuals with wings... some, er... shifters? Ah, capable of changing to animal form...
[Then Jetfire tilts his helm and it's clear that while he certainly believes her that can't be all of it.]
I'm sure there was more to that circumstance than you merely rounding a corner.
[... Enjoy that view of the floor for a while, big guy :D]
[Oh, well. He should perhaps have expected something like this to happen sooner or later, truly. So he'll just... sit there patiently and wait for the woman to either close the journal and end the recording on her end, or pick it up again.]
